Dutch lady's
strong me, stonger us stories

It's a bird! it's a plane! Nope, it's real superheroes!​
​
From the start of 2020, Dutch Lady had a focus on delivering a campaign slogan of, Strong Me, Stronger Us. What this entailed is that with your personal strength, you can make the people around you stronger.
​
Our task? To deliver this message on a more lament level so that the wider audience would understand what, "Strong Me, Stronger Us" meant. Before receiving this brief all of Dutch Lady's Strong Me, Stronger Us campaign executions had been collaborations with MARVEL superheroes. As a society, we idolize MARVEL's fictional characters yet many of us don't know even know that real ones exist! With that in mind, we decided to keep the theme of superheroes but put the spotlight on real ones that live amongst us.

To be a superhero one must put their community ahead of themselves and because of this, they are the perfect representation of Strong Me, Stronger Us.

Dr. Madhu
a.k.a. the teddy bear doctor​

Dr. Madhu a.ka. The Teddy Bear doctor has been volunteering as a doctor for the homeless and needy for the greater part of the last five years. He doesn’t charge any of his patients and operates out of his mobile clinic.
He is a perfect embodiment of our Strong Me, Stronger Us campaign because he selflessly helps others through his good nature without looking for any returns. He believes that by helping others and making them feel like “family” they can grow as a community and in turn help one another become stronger together.

Yasmin Rasyid​
Founder of ecoknights
​
Dr. Yasmin Rasyid a biologist, environmentalist and the founder of EcoKnights. For the past 20 years she has selflessly worked in multiple NGOs such as the WWF before starting her own venture, EcoKnights. Ecoknights is a NGO that aims to assist communities in areas of sustainable development.
Dr Yasmin embodies the Strong Me, Stronger Us campaign as she believes that being sustainable is not just a concept but rather a way of life. By setting an example through herself, she empowers the ones closest to her and the Malaysian community as a whole.
